I started getting calls from Allied Account Services a few weeks ago about a debt I don't even recognize. They left a voicemail saying they needed to discuss "important legal matters" but wouldn't give any details. When I finally answered, the representative was very aggressive and kept pushing me for payment immediately.

They haven't sent me anything in writing about this debt at all. I'm pretty stressed because they keep calling from different numbers (like 800-486-2929 and 516-783-9500) so I can't just block them. I’m worried they'll actually try to sue me or ruin my credit for something that might not even be mine. Should I send them a letter asking for proof of the debt? Any advice on how to handle these guys?
