When a Simple Sudoku Grid Became My Stress Test
I used to think stress tests were dramatic things.
Big presentations. Tight deadlines. Important decisions.
I didn’t expect a quiet little grid of numbers to become one.
But one evening, after a long and exhausting day, I opened a Sudoku puzzle and realized something surprising — the way I played it reflected exactly how I handle pressure in real life.
And let’s just say… it was humbling.
A Rough Day and a Random Puzzle
That day had been chaotic.
Back-to-back meetings. Constant notifications. A to-do list that seemed to multiply every hour. By the time I got home, my brain felt like static.
Normally, I would have collapsed onto the couch and scrolled mindlessly.
Instead, I opened a Sudoku puzzle.
I wasn’t looking for a challenge. I just wanted something structured. Predictable. Quiet.
At first, it worked beautifully.
