How to Play BitLife
Live a Second Life
The game features a main menu with three sections: New Life, Stats, and Configure. You begin your journey as a newborn baby, where you can select a name and birthplace for your character.

To age your character, simply tap the plus icon in the center of the screen. Each tap advances your age by one year. As you progress, you will encounter various events and challenges at different life stages, such as attending school, dating, getting married, having children, and eventually retiring. When you turn 18, you can choose to attend college or university, pursue careers like modeling, acting, or becoming an astronaut, or opt for professions such as electrician, journalist, or military service.

The game simulates the milestones of human growth, mirroring real-life experiences. Once you reach 100 years old, your character will pass away, and you can start anew.

Follow Key Indicators
BitLife tracks four main indicators that reflect your character's life:

Happiness: This index measures your character's overall optimism. A lower happiness level indicates psychological instability and misfortune.

Health: This index represents your character's physical well-being. If it drops to zero, your character will die.

Smarts: This intelligence index increases as you attend school. The smarter your character is, the more options they will have in life.

Looks: This index reflects your character's appearance. A high looks index makes it easier to attract others, especially in dating scenarios.
