Webhook Not Firing Consistently — Am I Missing a Setting?
Hi everyone,
I’m trying to integrate SmartLead’s API with one of my internal tools, and I’m running into an issue with webhooks not firing consistently. Some events come through instantly, others never arrive, and a few show up with a long delay.
Before I assume it’s on my end, I want to check something: Is there a specific SmartLead API setting, header, or webhook configuration that affects reliability or delivery frequency?
I’ve already verified my endpoint is up, responding with 200 OK, and logging all incoming requests, so it doesn’t look like a server-side failure.
If anyone here has dealt with inconsistent webhook events or found a workaround (retry settings, batching behavior, API mode, etc.), I’d really appreciate your insights. Thanks!
