AI as a companion in self-discovery

The idea of using an AI assistant for self-discovery honestly sounds both exciting and a little strange to me. I’ve tried setting reminders on my phone or using regular habit trackers, but after a while I just stop paying attention to them. I keep thinking maybe something smarter, like an AI that actually responds to what I write or how I feel, could help me stick with it. The problem is I don’t know if it would feel supportive or just too “techy” and distant. Has anyone actually tried this kind of thing for building habits or understanding themselves better?
