# Update Spintax Distribution Mode

> Set how spintax variations are distributed across a campaign's leads (incremental or random)

<Note>
  Requires your own API key. Client API keys get `401`.

  Only campaigns in `DRAFTED` status can be changed. Setting the mode also re-applies it to the campaign's existing leads.

## Query Parameters

  Campaign ID

<ParamField body="spintaxDistributionMode" type="number" required>
  Spintax distribution mode. Valid values:

  * `1` - Incremental
  * `2` - Random
